Alex is a budding young makeup artist who has worked hard to build her makeup portfolio and reputation as a hard working, friendly and talented artist. Having had her own work published in Sublime magazine, Vision, and Another Man she has also worked on shows for Ann Sofie Back, James Long, Qasimi, Tim Soar, Nasir Mazar, Jaiden RVA James, Charlie Le Mindu and Emilio de la Morena under key makeup artist Ayami Nishimura.
During her time assisting top makeup artist Ayami Nishimura she had the privilege to assist on shoots for high profile clients such as Rankin, Kasabian, Aquascutum, Reebok, John Lewis and Tatler magazine which was the best learning experience you could ask for. I was able to hone my skills watching, learning and practicing the techniques passed on by those at the top.
I have of course been influenced greatly by the senior artists I have been taught by however I have developed my own style and love to bring a clean, beautiful, groomed quality to my makeup work. This focus on beautiful skin and natural makeup has naturally lead me to work predominately in the bridal industry where I can put these skills to good use turning brides into a fresher, more beautiful version of themselves.
